Mood: a-ok
Well I'm still getting use to this blog thing, let alone logging into angelfire. I haven't started up re-building the pieces to my site, yet things have been going pretty good for me.
Since my last post, I finished watching Dragonball Z in digitally remastered format, which was cool. I finished about half of DBGT a series I've only seen once prior when I was 17, which was 9 years ago (yes I recently had a birthday). This time around in dubbed english; also remastered. It was a pretty good feeling to bring back that old DB fan in me that was asleep for a bit.
Anyway, I was in the midths of finishing up Final Fantasy 12, having a blast at it while watching/listening to Big Brother 4 US version in the background, until my friend who talks 100% Pokemon these days lured me back in. So FF12 has been on hold for a bit (along with DBGT for that matter), but the game has surpassed my expectations (not to say it is a better game than previous versions, but considering I didn't like the style of the game the first time I played it, I think it does its justice). I was having fun hunting down random monsters in my bounty hunter roll, along with actually knowing what I was doing in the game. I'm about 80% done the game, but would I recommend it? Eh, it's way too long to be a rental title so I'd say purchase it, but try to get it at a reasonable price, although you do get your moneys worth. Some consider it to be the different style their favorite Final Fantasy game, so who am I to judge? Personally on my list, it hovers just about FFX-2 I'd say.
I was out buying kitty food at GT one day, and I looked through some PS2 games that were pretty cheap, maybe a year older than one would like, yet 10 bucks isn't bad. I noticed a few anime games, which I took a gander at the back and they didn't seem as interesting to me considering how generic they were, like most animes are these days. I mean I'm a guy who has seen over 100 of them (yeah, who says I'm only a jock?), and unless they have some real appeal or something I previously marked out for, no reason to waste cash on them; save that for the actual animes! The other game I noticed was Madden '08. Now the story with Madden games and me is previously the Madden '05 game I had was a blast to play at first, yet as time wore on, the game became well pretty frustraiting; not as bad as the EA Hockey games, yet I felt that considering I do own ESPN NFL 2k5, I'll punish EA again. My final two selections were between MLB 2k8 vs. NBA 2k8. This was a really tough decision because I know more about baseball, yet I don't have a basketball game. Pretty much what it came down too, is I'm not that big of a baseball fan, and I still own Griffey 64 so I thought I'd try something new with the Basketball.
I posted a video on YouTube at one of the crazy moments I had in the game and described in the description on how I took the Knicks and had to rejuvinate their CAP struggles.
